Pakistanâs J. Junaid Jamshed is an unusual success story. The modest fashion brand was founded more than two decades ago by the late Junaid Jamshed, a local rockstar who abandoned his rowdy music career to become a conservative religious figure and staunch proponent of the Islamic economy. Jamshedâs traditional clothing business has swelled in recent years, to a vast network of 110 high-street stores across Pakistan and nearly 40 stores overseas from South Africa to southern California.
