How To Watch
What to Know
The Incarnate Word Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Duke Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Cardinals are no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Incarnate Word is headed into this one after the oddsmakers set last week’s over/under low at 145.5, but even that wound up being too high. They came out on top against East Texas A&M by a score of 65-53 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Duke entered their tilt with Louisville on Sunday with two consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 76-65 win over the Cardinals.
Among those leading the charge was Cooper Flagg, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Maliq Brown was another key player, earning six points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals.
Incarnate Word now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Duke, they have been performing well recently as they’ve won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Incarnate Word hasn’t had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 78.8 points per game. However, it’s not like Duke struggles in that department as they’ve been averaging 80.6. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
