The 2024 Paris Olympics are approaching a conclusion, and Team USA is a strong favorite to finish atop the Olympics medal count. There’s no shortage of star power representing the United States throughout these Summer Games, which officially end Sunday.
While Team USA legends like Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky are already done with their competitions this year (after collecting more hardware), there’s still more gold to go for with a few days to go. The biggest individual name left is Noah Lyles as he looks to complete the 100-200 double on Thursday. Lyles and two more Americans, Kenneth Bednarek and Erriyon Knighton, will compete in the 200-meter final with the eyes of the world watching after Lyles’ stunning win in the 100 meters.
Plus, Team USA men’s basketball is in the semifinals where they will meet a familiar foe in Nikola Jokic and Serbia. The Americans throttled the Serbs in exhibition and pool play during the Olympics and look to head to the gold medal game on Saturday for a fifth straight time with a win here.
The 17-day sporting event will feature many of the world’s top athletes, and you can watch the action both on NBC and streaming on fubo (Try for free).
You can also stick with CBS Sports throughout the Olympics for medal table updates and a Team USA results tracker breaking down every American medal winner along with which athletes from the U.S. and around the world etch their names in Olympic history joining the pantheon of legends who have preceded them.
